WhyMeditate was created to make meditation accessible to people who struggle with traditional mindfulness apps. Most meditation platforms rely heavily on long-form audio, which creates friction for beginners and visual learners.
The opportunity was to design a product that simplified meditation through short, visual, and measurable experiences.
• Identified a gap in the wellness market for a meditation experience designed for visual learners and skeptical beginners
• Built the product around 60-second animated breathwork sessions that show real-time benefits like reduced stress and improved focus
• Designed the platform to communicate the value of meditation quickly for audiences with limited attention spans
